Collaborate with other musicians and mentor beginning music students through a self-designed teaching model. Continuo musicians are selected to participate in both long-term and short-term residencies in the spring and fall, drawing upon their performance experience to exercise teaching tools in music, with an emphasis on young people in underserved communities. Experiences range from single-day full programming to 4-6 week workshop projects.

In past years, Continuo has worked with the Boston Children's Museum, Bridge Boston Charter School, and the Conservatory Lab Charter School of Boston.

You will:

• Mentor, support, and build a relationship with students

• Provide educational material for the learners

• Work as a team to coach students in rehearsals

General expectations:

• Come prepared and on time to all rehearsals, meetings, and performances

• Take risks, go beyond your comfort level and learn from the students

• Maintain a positive, flexible, and open attitude

• Communicate with other Arts Leaders in a clear and timely manner

• Confirm transportation to and from the site
