Empower through Performance
Connect with other young musicians and perform classical music for a range of audiences throughout the Boston area! Throughout the year, Continuo musicians perform in community performances for a wide range of audiences at venues throughout the Greater Boston area, including the Boston Children’s Museum, Center Communities of Brookline, and Goddard House. Each concert features a unique set of musicians and an innovative approach focused on audience engagement.

You will:

Work as a team to generate a lively performance program

Share your music and experiences with members of varying communities

Have a performance experience unlike traditional settings

General expectations:

Finalize and prepare repertoire in a timely fashion

Meet with your ensemble at least once to rehearse together

Take risks, go beyond your comfort level, and learn from your peers and audience members

Maintain a positive, flexible, and open attitude

Communicate with the rest of your team in a clear and timely manner

Be able to travel to and from the venue
